MSNP on WebTV (MSNTV) |
There are some fun features/bugs of MSN, that you do not have to be connected to the Notification Server to remain connected with the Switchboard Server. They are not in any way interconnected.
Additionally, you can use this in several ways, i.e. sending offline-messages to people.
The theory is that you connect as you normally do, get yourself your Switchboard session, and invite any principal(s) you choose. You may then either CHG to HDN or OUT the NS, making you appear as offline, yet being able to talk.
Fun fun.
