Submitting Pre-compliance Testing Results
The purpose of the compliance process is to help ensure that your Activity functions properly within the MSN Messenger application, and that users of your Activity application will have a positive experience with your application and the MSN Messenger service. Although the Support team completes the compliance process (based on results that you provide), your familiarity with your Activity ensures the quick completion of testing required before your Activity goes live.
To complete the pre-compliance requirements, you must provide the following items:
- A copy of the Compliance Checklist, which details all compliance items that you must complete before the MSN Support team will consider adding your application to the Activities menu.
- A copy of the MSGRP2P.xml file used to develop your Activity.
- A copy of your Activity.
You may need to supply additional items, depending on what features your application includes. For example, if you are using a custom graphic on the Games menu or the Activities menu in MSN Messenger, you must include the URL for the graphic as part of your submittal.
The Support team provides all documentation required for completing the pre-compliance checks, including forms and instructions. You can obtain copies of required documentation from the MSN Messenger Activity site located at (http://activity.msn.com)
