Design Considerations for Increased Activity Usage
Regardless of which method you use to increase usage of your MSN Messenger Activity, the method requires a Web site. When designing the Web page that will direct users to your Activity, you should keep the following design considerations in mind:
- Based on usability feedback, you should include terms like "Start our MSN Messenger Activity with your friend by clicking this link" to clearly establish what behavior users should expect when they click your link.
- You should clearly indicate that your users are being directed away from your Web site to the MSN® site (if using the URL redirection method).
- If you want to use the MSN logo or other Microsoft branding on your Web page, you need to arrange this with the MSN Support in advance.
