Activities Menu
The Activities Menu is the central repository of the MSN® Messenger Activities available in your MSN market. Your Activity will be available from either the Games or Activities area of the MSN Messenger toolbar. The following are screen shots of the Games or Activities menu visible in MSN Messenger version 7.0 (or later).
If you are using earlier versions of MSN Messenger (6.0 and 6.1), your Activity will be visible from the Launch Site button on the MSN Messenger toolbar, as shown in the following screen shot:
For version 6.2 of the MSN Messenger client, your Activity is accessed from the Fun & Games button on the toolbar of the Conversation window (not shown).
The user can display the Activities Menu in one of several ways:
- Click the Games or Activities button in the Conversation window.
- Right-click an online contact in the Messenger Contact List (shown below on left), and then click Play a Game or Start an Activity.
- On the Actions menu of the Messenger Contact List, click Play a Game or Start an Activity, and then choose an online contact to send an invitation to.
- In previous versions of MSN Messenger (versions 6.0, 6.1, or 6.2), access to an Activity is controlled differently. In the top-right corner of the Conversation window, click the See More Actions icon (shown below on right), and then click Play a Game. If the conversation has more than one other participant, the user is prompted to choose one person to send an invitation to.
The applications that are displayed will vary depending on the market the user resides in.
The list is reloaded from the MSN Messenger Web server every time the user clicks the Launch Site button.
